Small Group Strength
The session most members do most weeks. Your own plan, written for you, run alongside seven other people and a coach.
Eight people, one coach
Sixty minutes, on the hour through the timetable

8People in the room, one coach
60 minWarm up, main lift, supporting work, writing it down
Who it is for
Anyone who has finished Foundations, or who has trained somewhere before and knows their way around a barbell.
- Everybody in the room is on a different plan. Nothing here is a class doing the same thing in unison.
- You are never made to lift in front of the room, and there is no leaderboard on the wall.
- Sessions are capped at eight because past that a coach cannot honestly watch everybody.
What a session looks like
- You arrive, look at your own page in the log, and start the warm up while people filter in.
- One main lift for the day, working up in small steps to the weight written down for you.
- Two or three supporting exercises, usually paired so the session keeps moving.
- A short finisher, which is not a punishment and is sometimes just carrying something heavy across the floor.
- The coach writes next week's numbers next to today's before you leave.
