Who it is for
People coming back from an injury, an operation, an illness, a pregnancy, or a break long enough to feel like starting again.
- We are coaches, not clinicians. We do not diagnose anything and we do not treat anything.
- If you are under the care of a physiotherapist or a doctor, we will work to what they have told you.
- Some people need eight sessions rather than four. We will tell you plainly if you are one of them.
What a session looks like
- The first session is mostly conversation and easy movement. We find the edges of what is comfortable.
- We work below those edges on purpose, and we write down where they are so we can watch them move.
- Loading starts lighter than you want it to. This is the part people argue with and later thank us for.
- By the fourth session there is a plan on paper covering the following two months.
- You move into the group room when the plan says so, not when the calendar does.
When it runs
Sessions are bookable a week ahead and every one of them is capped. The full week is on the timetable.
Who coaches it
All three of us have been here since 2017. There is more about each of them on the coaches page.
